PROPER PINTS & HEARTY PUB FOOD IN ECCLES

New dishes on our autumn menu, plus our new cosy menu.

New dishes have landed at the Jolly Carter. Our new autumn menu is packed with proper pub classics, from Slow braised steak & ale pie and John Willie’s beer battered fish to Chicken tikka masala and a Bacon double cheeseburger. Lunchtime sandwiches are served 12pm – 3pm (excluding Sunday), and from 2pm on weekdays our new cosy menu serves up two or three courses of warming comfort food.
JW Lees beers have been in the making for nearly 200 years, brewed with the same care and tradition since 1828. At the Jolly Carter you’ll find traditional cask ales like Bitter and Manchester Pale Ale, a crisp Manchester Craft Lager and a wide selection of spirits, wines and ciders.
Sunday is a day of roast at the Jolly Carter, with bottomless gravy and unlimited Yorkshire puddings. We also serve buffet options and nibbles for special occasions and match days, so just ask at the bar.
